Keeping Your Garage Tidy

We all know that keeping a garage tidy is very difficult! If your garage is anything like mine it is probably filled with useless junk piled on top of each other and blocking the access to things that I really need! Well, that was what my garage used to be like before I decided to have a good clean through, get rid of things I don't need, and put the rest in some sort of order.

First of all the things I used most in the garage were sporting equipment so I made sure they were near the door for easy access. The same also went for the gardening equipment although I don't use these as much as I probably should!

With the rest of the things I put them outside and sorted them into different categories. Once that was done I chose the groups of boxes that are least important and put them somewhere near the back. The things I use more regularly went nearer the front so hopefully I won't spend nearly as much time going through things again.

Another thing that was important to do was put clear labels on all the generic boxes on both the side and he top so I can easily find what I'm looking for should it be something that isn't used a lot.

Just by doing these simple things my garage has been transformed from a place I hated to go and wouldn't venture to somewhere where I can store everything in a tidy and neat space.
